Never have so many heroes been compiled in one work. The photography duo Shunk-Kender seemed to be in every room that mattered between 1957 and 1983 and they photographed all of it wonderfully. Nicki de Saint Phalle, Yves Klein, Jean Tinguelly, Yayoi Kusuma, Warhol, Brigid Polk, Lou Reed, Anni and Joseph Albers, and everyone else who was cool in those years. The pictures are exquisite - playful, delicate and intimate.
