One of the first publications on immigrant life in London and also one of the first to focus on the poorer, less lavish depiction of London in the 1950's. Its themes include internalised racism, class seperation and lonliness. Great book for those who want to learn about a more realistic history of the urban megacity London is today. Condition is very good, tight binding, however there is a light crease in the corner of the cover.
